In February, 2024 Esther added a new Special Quiz,
"Test Your Knowledge of the Plethora of Some of the More Exotic Bidding Conventions: A Special (and Challenging) Esther Bridge 'Pop' Quiz". ["con_quiz.pdf" =]
This Special Quiz involves a comprehensive overview of Conventions, but is not intended for beginners.
Esther says, "Even if you are not yet ready to play some of these more Advanced Conventions, it may help you
to (1) get a general 'lay of the land' about what your bridge future may eventually involve, and (2) have some (albeit vague) understanding of some of these Conventions in case you encounter Opponents who are bidding these Conventions!"
For a very good and diverse set of bridge web-based quizzes that provide immediate feedback, albeit with very terse/brief explanations, see the Quizzes section of Grand Lifemaster (20K+ MPs) Richard Pavliceck's bridge teaching
website: rpbridge.net. For example, the Bidding Quizes each consist of about 15 questions. Your bridge Hand is
presented, along with any prior bidding, and you are asked to type what you would bid. Immediate feedback is given.
The next few bids are given. Then you are asked what you would bid next, and so forth, until the contract is set on a
given Board. Each quiz consists of a series of 3 or 4 Boards.
